Stitching together, tear apart, start again, and again, and yet again,
Fill the teacup with your tears. Your grandmother will get you a fish.
Name it Horus because you're ironic like that.
-Dawn

As Dawn remembers it, she was born on a Friday in the southern capital of Nashville. Biologically O positive, this may have influenced the cyclical moving through the continental US, that later ensued. Dawn can currently be found nestled among the verdant trees of TN. Living a life presently punctuated by the absence of sky and air you can chew.

Her four feral children can be seen echoing through her work. However, her dog has yet to be found. Synapsis coddling and beating against the ether prove fruitful in her artistic process. A process that currently explores concepts beyond her paygrade, executed in materials far exceeding her pocketbook. With evolutionary minded sensibilities, Dawn’s body of work is considered an expansive show of multidisciplinary research.

With firm distaste of the linear, and late in her early career Dawn reentered the mystical realms of academia with plans to graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a BFA in Studio Art (2021), where her obsessions not only include art but the pursuit of minors in Biology and Chemistry. She has shown at such places as the ever-expanding voids of her own mind, Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Gallery (Nashville, TN), The Leonardo (Salt Lake City, UT), Urban Arts Gallery (Salt Lake City, UT), various abandoned and not so abandoned buildings here, there and elsewhere. As well as a garage door in Poplar Grove, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 USA.
