Some things that inspire and drive my work.
When I think about my creativity. I think about growing up in this place. Where everything is possible. Where I can create whatever, I want, because I witness and experience other people creating their own visions. This is the power of Art, to Free others.
Cicadas fill sweet thick summer air with a hum, iconic to the American South. An ecosystem rich in diversity lends to opportunities for growth and wonderment. I would jump at a research opportunity that involved this truly unique region.
Always reading, I am conscious of the unique complexities that technology has implanted on our ability to read and find enjoyment in doing so. I hope to join the efforts to further bridge the literacy gap in and through technology.
Ever searching for a balance away from technology. I look forward to the ever-evolving ways science and technology can not only coexist but bolster our natural spaces.
My best insights and problem solving often hit, atop my cycle, on long stretches of road or ascending a rocky incline in the mountains. Peace and inspiration seem to abound beneath perspiration.
All facets of my work and life are drenched in the fingerprints of process. I embrace this and see it as one of my strengths to work both creatively and methodically through problems.
